Review quiz:
1. What object does Jim use to tell people's fortune?
2. Who is described as having greasy black hair that hangs down like vines and as having skin that is "a white to make a body sick, a tree toad white, a fish belly white"?
3. List two pieces of evidence that reveal that the Widow Douglas is a good person (1/2 each)
4. Explain why Pap Finn is able to trick the new judge and his wife into believing that he is "reformed." There's a good chance that you would know better. What clouds their perspective?
5. What does Huck put on the axe blade? Be specific.
6. Tom and Huck play a practical joke on Jim by taking his hat off his head while he is sleeping and hanging it on a tree branch. Later, after Jim claims that witches did it and he tells his friends the story, Huck says that after the experience Jim would never be a good slave again. Why is that?
