You may either use a spiral, a small 3-ring, or simply staple together pages from a bigger notebook. The notebook is to be divided into the following sections, which need to be separated by post it notes, tabs, or something else that will be clearly visible to me. The bottom line here is that the journal entries need to all be together, the notes together, the grammar exercises, etc.
